What actually happens in your first session
What actually happens in your first session.
You do not need to prepare, know what to say, or explain yourself before we begin. You arrive as you are. I meet you there — and we start with what is present.
You may already know you want the session. What you do not know is what will happen once you are in the room. Do you need a question? Do you need to explain your history? Will you feel something? And if this is energetic transformational healing, what does that actually mean when two people are sitting across from each other?
The simplest answer is: you do not need to prepare for me. You do not need to organize your story before you arrive. I would rather meet what is actually present than begin with everything you already know about it.
You do not need to know where the work is.
We begin simply. You arrive, we settle in, and I may ask what brought you — but I do not need your complete history before I begin reading you. That is intentional. If you spend the first part of the session explaining what happened, what you think caused it and what everyone else has told you about it, I am beginning inside a framework you already have. I would rather look first.
You can come with something specific: a relationship, a decision, a repeating pattern, a feeling that you cannot move forward. Or you can come knowing only that something needs to change. As I describe in the distinction between psychic prediction and clairvoyant perception, I am looking at what is present now — where the field changes, where something is being held and what it appears connected to.
You do not need to know where the work is. Finding it is part of the work.
We move beneath what you already understand.
Once we begin, I am looking for where your field changes — density, compression, interruption, movement or something that does not match the rest of what I see. Then I follow it. Where is it held? How long has it been there? What is it attached to? Is what you are experiencing being created by something happening now, or is the present activating something much older?
You may already understand your pattern. You may know where it came from, have processed the history and be able to watch yourself repeat it in real time. But conscious understanding does not necessarily change the subconscious root. I am looking beneath what you already understand for the place where the pattern is still being organized. When we reach that point, the session can move from understanding into transformation.
I am a healer, but you are not handing your authority to me.
The word healer can imply that one person possesses something another person needs — that I do something to you, repair you, and you return when you need me to do it again. That is not how I understand this work.
I am a guide that leads you to what you already know.
I can see, locate and work energetically with what becomes accessible. I can guide your attention toward something you may not consciously recognize, and when the field opens, I can facilitate an energetic activation or shift. But I am not overriding you or deciding who you should become. Your system is participating in the work.
That is why guide is also true, but incomplete. I guide what I can see. I work with what becomes available. And when something is ready to move, I meet it there.
Healing, as I work with it, is not me becoming more powerful in your life. It is you becoming more aware.
An activation does not need to be dramatic to be transformational.
When we reach the root of something being held, you may experience the energetic shift physically or emotionally. There may be warmth, tingling, pressure, expansion, emotion or stillness. Your breathing may change. An image or memory may surface. Something that felt charged moments earlier may suddenly feel neutral. Or you may feel very little physically.
There is no correct response. I do not measure transformation by how dramatic the session feels. Intensity is not evidence of depth. What matters is whether something changes in your relationship to what was there — immediately or in the hours and days that follow.
The activation is not the moment you feel something. It is the moment something no longer has to organize you in the same way.
Your role is simply to remain present. Tell me when something resonates and when it does not. Notice what changes. Ask questions. Stay connected to your own experience rather than trying to produce the experience you think you should be having.
The session is collaborative. It is never a performance.
The real evidence often appears after you leave.
Sometimes the shift is obvious in the room. You feel lighter, clearer or unusually still. Something that carried an emotional charge no longer has the same grip. A decision looks different because the pattern underneath it is no longer speaking as loudly.
Sometimes you recognize the transformation later. You respond differently to something that always triggered you. You stop rehearsing the conversation. A familiar thought arrives without pulling you into the familiar reaction. Or you suddenly realize you have not thought about the thing you could not stop thinking about.
The shift becomes visible in your life. That matters more to me than whether you had an extraordinary experience during the session. Energetic transformation is useful because something changes beyond the session — not because something impressive happened inside it.
If you want to understand what I am perceiving as we work, what it actually means to read someone's energy field explains how I locate what is being held and follow it toward its root.
You are not coming to become someone else.
You are not a project when you walk through the door. I am not looking for everything that is wrong with you, and I am not trying to remove every difficult emotion or experience that has shaped you.
I look for what is present, what is still organizing you beneath conscious awareness, and what no longer needs to remain there.
That is the distinction between changing who you are and transformational healing. We are not adding a better version of you over the top of the person who arrived. We are finding what has been taking up space, making it visible, and allowing something different to become possible.
The goal is not to leave needing more healing. It is to leave with less standing between you and yourself.
Your first session does not require preparation, the right words or a belief system. You do not need to know what the root is before you arrive.
I bring the sight, the energetic work and the ability to follow what becomes visible. You bring your own recognition.
We find what is underneath. We work with what is ready to move. What happens next belongs to you.
If you know something is ready to change, you do not need to know what it is before you arrive.
